Yermak: There will be no compromise on Ukraine's territorial integrity

Ukraine will not make any compromise regarding its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity on the road to peace.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, told this to journalists before the Peace Summit in Burgenstock, Switzerland, on Saturday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"[There will be] no compromise on independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity," Yermak said, commenting on the possibility of Ukraine achieving a compromise as part of a peaceful settlement.

He stressed that at the summit in Burgenstock, the leaders will discuss "the principles of a future joint plan, which we would like to be based on the Peace Formula." According to him, if the leaders manage to work out a joint plan, it can be presented to Russia at the second peace summit.

Yermak also said that "the whole world already understands and sees that the language of ultimatums does not work with Ukraine."

"Ukraine is really capable of winning and having a just peace. Why do I repeat so many times about a just peace? Because it is very important not only for Ukraine, but it is extremely important for the whole world. And the uniqueness of President Zelensky's Peace Formula is that that we invite all responsible countries to talk about this," Yermak said.
