British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly believes that Russia may attack Ukrainian civilian ships in the Black Sea.

The relevant statement was made by British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly on Twitter on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports.

"The UK believes that Russia may escalate its campaign to destroy Ukraine’s food exports by targeting civilian ships in the Black Sea," Cleverly said.

The Foreign Secretary added that the issue of such "unconscionable behaviour" by Russia will be discussed at the UN Security Council.

"Russia should stop holding global food supplies hostage and return to the deal," Cleverly emphasized.
