PG Kostin, ICC official discuss opening of Court’s office in Ukraine

Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin of Ukraine discussed with International Criminal Court representative Brenda Hollis the opening of an ICC office in Ukraine.

That’s according to a posting on Telegram by PGO’s press service, seen by Ukrinform.

"Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin met with his counterpart from the International Criminal Court - the head of the Joint Group on Ukraine Brenda Hollis," the statement states.

The interlocutors discussed the opening of the International Criminal Court’s office in Ukraine, as well as a range of practical cooperation steps.

"The Prosecutor General's Office is always ready to assist the ICC, providing all the necessary information to ensure justice and prosecution for international crimes," the report emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the International Criminal Court is actively engaged in probing Russian war crimes cases and actively cooperates with the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine in their inquiries.
