European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson arrives in Kyiv

European Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson has arrived on a visit to Kyiv.

Johansson announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports. 

“In Kyiv today to discuss our shared security. Ukrainian Minister of Interior 

Ihor Klymenko is achieving excellent results” Johansson wrote.

According to her, the current agenda includes law enforcement cooperation, prevention of arms smuggling, work on investigating war crimes, and support for demining the areas where the fighting took place.

Ylva Julia Margareta Johansson is a Swedish politician, Commissioner for Home Affairs in the Von der Leyen Commission.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in early May, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko met with British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons.
