Mykhailo Podolyak, an adviser to the head of the Office of the Ukrainian President, decried as “empty” the threats voiced by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council to the Ukrainian leadership in the wake of a drone attack on the Kremlin.

Podolyak posted his comment on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"There is a brilliant Finnish remark for any threatening statement by a typical Russian subject "Medvedev" (deputy head of RF’s Security Council), especially about "physical destruction": Tyhjät tynnyrit kolisevat eniten (translated - An empty barrel makes more noise. There is a lot of ringing in an empty barrel)…" Podolyak tweeted.

As reported, the press service of the Russian President said an attempted UAV attack on the Kremlin had been foiled.

The Kremlin regards the attempted strike as a "planned act of terror and an attempt on the life of the Russian president on the eve of Victory Day" by Ukraine.

Starting from May 3, a ban was introduced in Moscow on the launch of unmanned aerial vehicles, with the exception of UAVs flown with permission of state authorities.
