Office of President reveals details of Zelensky's visit to Finland

In Finland, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will negotiate with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinistö and Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Petteri Orpo and participate in the Ukraine-Northern Europe summit.

The press secretary of Ukrainian President Serhiy Nykyforov said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Today the President of Ukraine is in Finland. Volodymyr Zelensky will hold talks with his Finnish counterpart Sauli Niinistö and Speaker of the Finnish Parliament Petteri Orpo. The President will also take part in the Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit. The meeting of the leaders of Ukraine and the five Nordic countries is organized to further coordinate military assistance to our country, European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine," he said.

According to Nykyforov, a joint statement is expected to be issued following the summit.

The spokesman also informed that on the sidelines of the summit, the president will hold separate bilateral meetings with the prime ministers of Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Finland on Wednesday for a visit.
