A Russian accomplice, who set up in the occupied part of Kherson region a number of the notorious “torture chambers” for Ukrainians captured by the invasion troops, was liquidated “a few days ago.”

That’s according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

The report says that the turncoat in question is Serhiy Moskalenko, a Nova Kakhovka resident and owner of a local security firm.

Since the occupation of the area, he had cooperated with the Russians and sealed the position of the so-called ‘chief of the pre-trial detention center,” where captured Ukrainians were subjected to torture.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, after de-occupation in the liberated territory of Kherson region, the police discovered at least seven torture chambers and eight locations where detained Ukrainians had been held.
