Nine people were killed as a result of a Russian attack on a bus near Bilopillia, Sumy region.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Hryhorov, posted this on Facebook.
According to preliminary information, nine people were killed and five others were injured. “They are immediately hospitalized. A rescue operation is underway,” Hryhorov emphasized.
According to the head of the RMA, the Russians struck a Lancet UAV at a bus transporting civilians on the route Bilopillia - Sumy. The strike was carried out on the outskirts of Bilopillia.
According to Hryhorov, an ambulance, rescuers from the State Emergency Service and police are working at the scene.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Defense Council of Sumy Region decided to strengthen air defense.
