Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said that the prime ministers of the Visegrad Four countries - the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary - reached a common position on helping and supporting Ukraine, despite some differences of opinion.

Ukrinform reports this with reference to Radio Prague International.

Fiala also stated that it is necessary to provide the Ukrainian government with financial support.

It is noted that the prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland were holding their first such summit in over six months.

Prior to the meeting, Fiala said that this meeting at the level of heads of government could show whether the Visegrad Four had a future.

As reported by Ukrinform, the prime ministers of the Visegrad Four countries — Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary — met in Kosice, Slovakia, on November 24.
