President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine received an invitation to join a special international commission investigating the circumstances of a missile blast in Poland.

He said this in an online conversation during Bloomberg New Economy Forum, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday we insisted that we be involved in the creation of an international investigation commission and we received confirmation late yesterday evening. Indeed, from the very morning, our experts will travel to the scene and join this professional community," he said, when asked about the incident that occurred in Poland on November 15.

As reported, on Tuesday, November 15, a missile landed outside the Polish village of Przewodów, Hrubeszów County, Lublin Voivodeship, not far from the Ukrainian border, killing two people. The incident took place near a grain drying plant at around 15:40 local time.

Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Wednesday that there is absolutely nothing to indicate that was a deliberate attack by Russia. He added that, most likely, it was an air defense missile from the Ukrainian side and it was “an accident”.
