There are no indications that a rocket that hit Polish territory on November 15, 2022 was an intentional attack on the NATO member by Russia.

The relevant statement was made by President of Poland Andrzej Duda in a commentary to reporters in Warsaw, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to Bloomberg.

“Most likely, this was an unfortunate accident,” Duda said, adding that the missile was probably part of Ukraine’s air defense.

A reminder that, on November 15, 2022, two people were killed in the explosion, which occurred in Poland’s village of Przewodów, Hrubieszów County, Lublin Voivodeship, situated not far from the border with Ukraine. The incident took place near a grain drying plant around 03:40 p.m. (local time).
