Ukraine and U.S. top diplomats and defense chiefs at a meeting in Warsaw on Saturday discussed in detail the supply of weapons to Ukraine to help the country repel Russian aggression.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, who spoke in a Facebook video shot in Warsaw, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As for weapons, there was also a very substantive conversation. We came with specific numbers and items, and there will be progress, there will be developments. Just watch. But first of all, believe in Ukraine… I said at today’s meeting that Ukraine's indomitable character and Western, especially American, weapons, are the recipe of our victory," Kuleba said.

The diplomacy chief expressed confidence that Ukraine would definitely see its great victory, and promised to work every day and night to bring it as close as possible.

"Today is a real opportunity to thank the United States for everything it has done for Ukraine so far. We thank every nation – not all assistance is reported in the media, but I know what every country has done, and we thank every one of them. But no one has done more for Ukraine throughout this time than the United States," the foreign minister stressed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov held 2+2 talks in Warsaw with their U.S. counterparts Antony Blinken and Lloyd Austin.

U.S. President Joe Biden also joined the meeting.
