The Ukrainian authorities will continue to hold diplomatic meetings in Kyiv with international partners, as high-level visits reduce security challenges and upset the Kremlin's plans.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this at an online briefing on February 4, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to Kuleba, in recent months, Kyiv has become a center of international politics and the large number of visits of Ukrainian partners this week confirms this fact.

"Such intensive diplomacy will continue throughout February for the security of Ukraine and the peace of Ukrainians. There will be new visits from friendly important European countries next week, there will be many diplomatic contacts of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada Chairman, the Prime Minister, the Head of the Office of the President, mine," Kuleba said.

According to him, this and next week visits show that Ukraine is important for the world and is an active participant in international politics. The Foreign Minister also noted that this is one of the key elements of Ukraine's Foreign Policy Strategy and one of the ways to deter Russian aggression.

As Ukrinform reported, French President Emmanuel Macron plans to visit Ukraine on February 8.

The Foreign Ministry earlier reported that the foreign ministers of Germany, France, Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia would visit Ukraine next week.
