Russia does not have the right to discuss Ukraine's future membership in NATO, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

According to Ukrinform, he announced this on Twitter.

"The worst-case scenario has already happened. Russia attacked Ukraine, occupied our lands and murdered our citizens. Therefore, we are not interested in Russia's opinion on Ukraine's accession to NATO. Russia does not have the right to vote in the discussion on Ukraine's future membership in the Alliance," Kuleba wrote.

Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said earlier that Ukraine's accession to the North Atlantic Alliance is the worst-case scenario for Russia.
