According to Ukrinform, he wrote about this on Twitter.

"The Russian Federation again flagrantly violates human rights in the occupied Crimea. This morning, searches and detentions took place in the houses of Crimean Tatars. This unacceptable persecution must be stopped immediately and people must be released," Zelensky said.

He noted that the global community must respond appropriately to such violations.

As Ukrinform reported, new mass raids on the houses of Crimean Tatar Muslims in the temporarily occupied Crimea took place on August 17. After the searches, Rustem Murasov, Rustem Tayirov, Dzhabbar Bekirov, Zaur Abdullayev, and imam Rayif Fevziyev were detained.
