According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote this on Telegram.
"Ukraine must set an ambitious goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050. The government has developed a draft of Ukraine's updated Nationally Determined Contribution to the Paris Agreement, taking into account the National Economic Strategy 2030, which provides for significant economic growth in the coming years," Shmyhal wrote.
He added that the draft had been discussed at a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Roman Abramovsky, Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, as well as representatives of the Finance Ministry and the Economy Ministry.
Shmyhal added that a respective document was to be approved at a government meeting in the coming weeks.
