Kuleba orders embassies to work on including Ukraine in national 'green lists'

Ukrinform
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has instructed Ukraine's embassies in EU countries to work on including Ukraine in national "green lists," which will allow Ukrainians to travel to these countries without restrictions.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, Kuleba stated this at a government meeting on Wednesday, July 14.

He noted that the EU's decision to include Ukraine in the list of third countries from which entry is allowed is a recommendation to member states. Now each of them will consider the issue of including Ukraine in its national "green list" and determining the conditions for entry into its territory.

"I have already instructed all Ukrainian embassies in the EU member states to work actively with our European partners to ensure that Ukraine is included in the national green list of a respective country and that the conditions for entry for our citizens are as simple as possible," Kuleba said.

At the same time, he stressed that in making the relevant decision, each of the EU member states will be guided not only by coronavirus indicators in Ukraine, but also by its own epidemic indicators.

Kuleba advised Ukrainians to get acquainted with the latest information on a specially created website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry before traveling abroad.
