Zelensky, Steinmeier meet in Berlin

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, the meeting was held in a tete-a-tete format.

The parties discussed bilateral relations and international issues of mutual interest.

In the evening, Zelensky will meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the same format.

The leaders will discuss bilateral relations, implementation of the Minsk agreements on the settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, reform process in Ukraine, economic issues, relations with Russia, and construction of Nord Stream 2.

The day before, Zelensky met with Minister-President of North Rhine-Westphalia, head of the Christian Democratic Union Armin Laschet. They exchanged views on the further development of trade and economic cooperation and the establishment of an even closer partnership.
