Kuleba, Ciocoi discuss development of Associated Trio of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held talks with Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova Aureliu Ciocoi within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informs, the key topic of conversation was the development of the format of the Associated Trio of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova within the framework of the Eastern Partnership initiative.
The ministers agreed to hold consultations to speed up the conclusion of an agreement on mutual recognition of ID cards in order to facilitate movement between the countries. They also discussed the implementation of infrastructure projects.
Kuleba expressed hope that the early parliamentary elections in Moldova on July 11 would be held in an open, democratic, competitive manner and without Russia’s interference.
