Government renames Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture

This was said in the text of resolution No. 504 of May 21, published on the Government portal.

"To rename the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine into the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine," the document says.

The Ministry of Economy within a month must submit to the Cabinet of Ministers proposals on amendments to legislative acts arising from this resolution, in accordance with the established procedure.

In addition, the government portal published an order to dismiss Oleksiy Liubchenko from the post of head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine in connection with his new appointment.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 20, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Oleksiy Liubchenko to the post of Ukraine’s First Vice Prime Minister, Minister for Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture.
