Zelensky congratulates King of Sweden on his birthday

The head of state wrote this on his Twitter account.

"Sweden is a special country. Sweden was the first in Northern Europe to recognize the independence of Ukraine. On the birthday of His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf, I wish him health and welfare. Grateful to Sweden for supporting Ukraine's territorial integrity and helping with reforms," Zelensky wrote.

As Ukrinform reported, on April 23, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Taran said that Stockholm demonstrated support for Ukraine amid the aggravation of the military and strategic situation on its eastern and southern borders due to Russia's aggressive policy.
