Euractiv removes map of Ukraine without Crimea - ambassador

Ukrinform
European media network Euractiv has removed from its website an inaccurate map on which Ukraine was marked without Crimea, Ukraine's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium and Ukraine's Representative to the EU Mykola Tochytskyi has said on Twitter.

"Inaccurate mapping of Ukraine's Crimea was removed from the Euractiv website. Crimea is an integral part of Ukraine. Russia's attempted annexation will never change this," the Ukrainian diplomat wrote.

On March 10, a number of Ukrainian media outlets published screenshots of a Euractiv article on the prospects of the Eastern Partnership initiative. The article was accompanied by an illustration of a map of Europe with images of partner countries on which Crimea was not shown as being part of Ukraine.
