Zelensky congratulates Dalia Grybauskaite on her birthday

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Dalia Grybauskaite, former President of Lithuania, on her birthday.

The head of state wrote this on his Twitter account.

“Dalia Grybauskaite is a true friend of Ukraine. Our country withstood great challenges with your support. Your activity is an example of the ability to defend national interests and support partners. Happy Birthday!” Zelensky wrote.

Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of Lithuania from 2009 to 2019, supported Ukraine in opposing Russian aggression. In 2018, she was awarded the Ukrainian Order of Freedom "for outstanding personal merits in strengthening Ukrainian-Lithuanian interstate relations and protecting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
