Ukraine, EU agree on new rules for bus transportation

He wrote this on his Telegram channel, commenting on the signing of the Protocol to the Interbus Agreement in Brussels on February 11.

"Just in Brussels, Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii on behalf of the government signed a protocol to the Interbus Agreement, which extends its validity to regular passenger bus services. The extension of the agreement will promote the development of international regular and special regular passenger traffic with the EU and with the member states of the Interbus Agreement, which will have a positive impact on the development of tourism. Ukrainians, in turn, will receive better services from national carriers thanks to the introduction of European practices and requirements," Shmyhal said.

A government delegation led by Shmyhal started a working visit to Brussels on February 9. Government representatives have already met with the leadership of the European Union and NATO. Shmyhal discussed several important issues with European Council President Charles Michel and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

On February 11, government officials took part in the seventh meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council in Brussels.
