Vice PM Stefanishyna names priority issues on agenda for talks with EU

At an online meeting on November 13, the EU-Ukraine Association Committee discussed the preparation and practical content of the Association Council, which is scheduled for December 2020.

Among the priority issues on the agenda, Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna noted the update of annexes to the Association Agreement, digital agenda, the integration of energy markets, and the implementation of European Green Deal policies.

“The Vice PM also stressed the importance of a dialogue on logistics and transport,” the Government portal reported.

The Association Committee makes preparations for the meetings of the Association Council, submits proposals, draft decisions or recommendations to the Association Council for approval. The Association Committee consists mainly of representatives of senior officials of Ukraine and the EU.
