Ukraine’s honorary consulate officially opened in Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi

During the opening ceremony, Ukraine's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi thanked the country's leadership and executive authorities of Shamakhi District for the opportunity to open Ukraine’s Consulate in the ancient and glorious city of Shamakhi.

As reported by Ukrinform, an official ceremony dedicated to the appointment of Ukraine's honorary consul in Shamakhi took place at Ukraine's Embassy in Azerbaijan on October 27.

During the ceremony, Ukraine's Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi handed a consular commission and an official certificate to newly appointed Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Shamakhi, Mehrali Gasimov, The parties signed an agreement on the functions and responsibilities of Ukraine's honorary consul in Shamakhi.
