Zelensky congratulates Renaud-Basso on taking office as EBRD president

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Odile Renaud-Basso on taking up the post of the president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and expressed hope for the further strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and the EBRD.
The head of state wrote this on his Twitter account.
"Congratulations Odile Renaud-Basso on assuming office as EBRD President. I wish you every success in your important mission and look forward to the pleasure of working closely with you to further strengthen Ukraine - EBRD cooperation," the tweet reads.
In October, the EBRD Board of Governors elected Renaud-Basso of France as the bank's next president.
She replaced Suma Chakrabarti, who stepped down in July after serving two full four-year terms.
Since July 2016, Renaud-Basso has held the position of Director-General at the French Treasury.
