Over 300 Ukrainians taking part in UN peacekeeping missions – Kuleba

More than 300 Ukrainians are taking part in United Nations peacekeeping operations, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said.

He said this during a UN flag-raising ceremony in Kyiv to mark the 75th anniversary of the organization's founding, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"More than 300 Ukrainians are currently participating in UN peacekeeping operations," the minister said.

Kuleba also assured that Ukraine will continue to be a reliable ally of the UN in maintaining and building peace in the world.

As a reminder, the UN was founded on October 24, 1945. The declared purpose of the organization's activities is to maintain and strengthen peace and international security, develop cooperation between the nations all over the globe.
