Foreign Ministry calls on Norwegian business to enhance cooperation with Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Senik has held a meeting with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Ukraine Erik Svedahl on September 22, the ministry’s press service reports.

“During the meeting, the parties praised the Ukrainian-Norwegian bilateral partnership and discussed some promising projects in the sectors of trade, investment and scientific cooperation,” reads a report.

The deputy foreign minister described the process of introducing digital technologies and called on the Norwegian side to share its experience in the area of e-governance.

“The main goal of digital transformations at the Foreign Ministry is to increase the efficiency of the ministry's work and simplify procedures for providing consular services to Ukrainian citizens," Dmytro Senik stressed.

The parties also discussed preparations for holding the 3rd meeting of the Ukrainian-Norwegian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Business and Economic Cooperation in November 2020.
