Government reorganizes some regional departments of State Environmental Inspectorate

The Cabinet of Ministers has liquidated some regional departments of the State Environmental Inspectorate and established district departments instead.
Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Roman Abramovsky stated this at a briefing on September 9, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Regional departments of the State Environmental Inspectorate were liquidated, district departments were created instead. District departments were established in Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Odesa regions," Abramovsky said.
According to him, these changes will contribute to better management and savings of public funds to maintain the department.
