Shmyhal meets with Timmermans in Brussels
The head of government wrote this on his Facebook page.
"I have landed in the heart of a united Europe. I am glad to meet personally Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the European Union Mykola Tochytskyi and Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans," Shmyhal wrote.
He also published photos showing him wearing a protective mask with the inscription in English "Crimea is Ukraine."
Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko and Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko are accompanying Shmyhal on the visit.
Shmyhal is paying his first official visit to Brussels as Ukraine's prime minister. According to him, he is to hold important meetings and negotiations and sign a very important agreement for Ukraine.
