Bodnar thanked the Lithuanian diplomat for supporting Ukraine in obtaining an Enhanced Opportunity Partner status and for helping to counter Russian aggression against Ukraine, which is an important component of security and defense cooperation.

The Lithuanian ambassador also expressed support for the reform process in Ukraine and assured of readiness for close cooperation to prepare Ukraine Reform Conference, which was to be held these days in Vilnius, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, Bodnar congratulated Lithuania on Statehood Day, which is celebrated annually on July 6.
