Kvien, Kuleba discuss Ukraine-U.S. cooperation, including fight against COVID-19

Chargé d'Affaires, a.i. of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Kristina Kvien and Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba have discussed the full range of cooperation between the countries, including the fight against the coronavirus COVID-19.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine wrote about this on Facebook.

“Following the recent call between President Zelenskyy and Secretary Pompeo, CDA Kvien and FM Kuleba discussed the full range of our cooperation, including how U.S. assistance funds are helping keep Ukrainians healthy,” reads the statement.

Kristina Kvien congratulated Foreign Minister Kuleba on his appointment and underscored U.S. support for Ukraine, including in the fight against COVID-19.

She also thanked Kuleba for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s effective collaboration with the U.S. Embassy, including assistance to U.S. citizens in returning home.
