Kyiv confirms 214 coronavirus cases – Klitschko

The number of Kyiv residents infected with Covid-19 has increased to 214 people, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

“As of today, the capital has 214 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Over the past day, the number of Kyiv residents infected with the coronavirus has grown by 25 people,” the mayor wrote on Facebook on April 4.

Among the new infected people are 10 men aged between 17 to 68 years and 15 women aged between 23 to 65 years. Two more healthcare workers contracted the coronavirus.

According to Klitschko, 10 persons have been hospitalized, and 15 are in self-isolation at home.

As of 10:00 on April 4, Ukraine had 1,096 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 28 deaths. Twenty-three patients recovered.
