PM Shmyhal announces regular teleconferences with leading Chinese doctors
“We agreed that teleconferences between doctors will be held on a more regular basis,” Shmyhal wrote on Telegram. He noted that the incidence rate in Chinese cities is declining, so their experience is invaluable.
The prime minister emphasized that coronavirus has become the number one challenge for the whole world. It is very important to join our forces in order to kill the disease.
“We are still at the beginning of the fight against the pandemic. We would like to receive the advice and skills from our Chinese partners. This is the first meeting in such format. I want to thank the PRC and Ambassador Fan Xianrong for a quick reaction and organization of this teleconference. After all, we will need their experience in the next two weeks,” Shmyhal said.
As of March 24, Ukraine had 97 laboratory-confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection.
