Trilateral Contact Group begins meeting in Minsk

The Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Belarus wrote this on its Twitter account today, March 11.

"A meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine has begun in Minsk," the post reads.

The previous meeting was held on February 26.

As reported, the Trilateral Contact Group at its previous meeting discussed the issues of additional areas for the disengagement of forces and hardware, a new exchange of detainees, ensuring effective search for missing persons and the possibility of opening new checkpoints at the contact line.

At the same time, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope for an exchange of detainees in March.
