Culture industry to receive proper financing – prime minister

Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said that the Ukrainian culture industry will receive proper funding and support.
The prime minister stated this during a Government Question Hour meeting held in Parliament on Friday, March 6, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The culture should be at the proper level of support and funding. We should be proud of wonderful cultural institutions and cultural workers. With the appointment of a relevant minister, I will give certain answers and appropriate directions will be introduced into our program,” Shmygal said.
As Ukrinform reported, on March 4, the Verkhovna Rada approved the new Cabinet of Ministers led by Prime Minister Denys Shmygal.
