Kuleba supports idea of uniting positions of deputy prime minister for EU integration and foreign minister
"If it happens, regardless of the name of person combining these posts, it will strengthen both the Ukrainian diplomacy and European and Euro-Atlantic integration," Kuleba told reporters on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
The deputy prime minister has also added he is ready for additional credentials: "I was never afraid to take on additional powers that I could fulfill. But once again I stress that the president and the parliament will decide on this issue,” he said.
At the same time, Kuleba declined to comment on reports about his possible appointment as foreign minister.
“There is nothing to comment on now. A political process is underway, consultations are underway. Let's wait till tomorrow and after any approved decisions, we will comment on the appointment or non-appointment,” he said.
