Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko is convinced that the international coalition’s support for Ukraine regarding the illegal annexation of Crimea should be strengthened.

He said this at the Age of Crimea forum dedicated to the Day of Crimea's Resistance to Russian Occupation, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"An international coalition of states that actively supports Ukraine in the Crimean issue has been formed within the UN. I returned from New York, where I had the opportunity to meet with the UN secretary-general, the president of the UN General Assembly session, and the high commissioner. We talked about the fact that this support exists and needs to be strengthened," Prystaiko emphasized.

As reported, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko called on the UN Human Rights Council to pay more attention to the rights of citizens in the occupied Ukrainian territories.
