Pompeo to meet with Zelensky on January 3

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will arrive in Kyiv on January 3 to hold a number of high-level meetings.
“Secretary Pompeo will travel to Kyiv on January 3, where he will meet with President Zelensky, Foreign Minister Prystaiko, and Defense Minister Zahorodnyuk to reaffirm U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” reads the statement posted on website of the U.S. Department of State.
As noted, U.S. Secretary of State will also attend a wreath laying ceremony at St. Michael’s to honor those who have fallen in Donbas, and meet with religious, civil society and business community leaders to discuss human rights issues, the investment climate, and the government’s reform agenda.
