Meeting with Zelensky gone in ‘businesslike manner’, Putin says

Russian President Vladimir Putin has stated that his meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the Normandy Four summit in Paris went “well and in a businesslike manner.”

Answering a journalist’s question after the meeting with President Zelensky, Putin said: “Yes, I’m happy [with the meetings’ results],” TASS Russian news agency reports.

According to the Russian leader, the meeting with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky went “well and in a businesslike manner.”

On December 9, the Normandy Four summit takes place in Paris with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of France Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Prior to the summit, the President of Ukraine held bilateral talks with the leaders of France and Germany.

The Normandy Four talks were cut short to hold a face-to-face meeting between Zelensky and Putin. Afterwards, the four-party negotiations have been resumed.
