Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has issued a decree on Ukraine's withdrawal from the agreement on the improvement of settlements between business organizations within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The decree, No. 851/2019 of November 18, has been published on the website of the head of state.
"In accordance with paragraph 3 of part one of Article 106 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I hereby declare to withdraw from the agreement on measures to improve settlements between economic organizations of the participating states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, signed in Tashkent on May 15, 1992," the decree reads.
Earlier reports said that Ukraine had completed the process of withdrawal from the CIS coordination bodies and is working to terminate its participation in the treaties previously concluded within the Commonwealth.
