Zelensky, Macron discuss preparation for Normandy format meeting

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with President of France Emmanuel Macron on Friday evening, the president’s press service has reported.
"The French president stressed that Ukraine had fulfilled all necessary conditions for the Normandy format summit to take place. As a result, all parties agreed on the date of its holding - December 9 in Paris," the report reads.
The leaders of Ukraine and France coordinated the preparation of the substantive content of the summit.
Zelensky informed Macron of the current security situation in Donbas.
The French president emphasized that Ukraine could further count on France's support in all matters.
The parties also discussed economic cooperation between the two countries and agreed to continue the bilateral dialogue during the official visit of the French president to Ukraine.
