Ukraine's Embassy in U.S. turns to NYT over map without Crimea

Ukrinform
Ukraine's Embassy in the United States has appealed to The New York Times over a map of Ukraine without Crimea.

The embassy reported this on Facebook and called on the newspaper to correct the mistake.

"The embassy has once again called on the editors of The New York Times to avoid making mistakes in the image of Crimea and not to play into the hands of Russian information propaganda," the statement reads.

According to the report, the newspaper again used in its article the map that violated the internationally recognized border of Ukraine.

The embassy said it counted on the prompt reaction of journalists of the influential newspaper, which is intended to convey the truth to the American and international public. "The truth is that Crimea is Ukraine!" The embassy added.
