Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch was shocked by U.S. President Donald Trump's words about her during a scandalous phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

This is stated in the transcript of Yovanovitch's testimony at the Intelligence Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives.

"I was shocked. I mean, I was very surprised that President Trump would [...] speak about me or any ambassador in that way to a foreign counterpart," Yovanovitch said when asked to share her impressions of the transcript of the Trump-Zelensky phone call.

In particular, Trump criticized Yovanovitch during his conversation with Zelensky, saying that "the former ambassador from the United States, the woman, was bad news and the people she was dealing with in Ukraine were bad news."

Yovanovitch also said she did not understand the meaning of Trump's words that she "is going to go through some things," but is still concerned and even threatened about it.
