The whereabouts of Volodymyr Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov, who were sentenced by a Russian court in the case of "Ukrainian saboteurs" and transferred from the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center in Moscow, are still unknown.

"I do not know for sure [where they were transferred to], but what I do know is that they are being transferred back to Crimea and at the last their location known to me was Armavir city [Krasnodar Territory of Russia]," lawyer Oksana Zheleznyak said in a commentary to the Crimea. According to Zheleznyak, she has not been given an official response regarding the transfer of her clients.

As for state of health of Dudka and Bessarabov, the lawyer noted that it was "difficult to say" because she "saw her clients for a long time."

As reported, it became known on October 23 that Ukrainian political prisoners Volodymyr Dudka and Oleksiy Bessarabov were transferred from the Matrosskaya Tishina pre-trial detention center in Moscow in an unknown direction.

Employees of the Crimean think tank "Nomos" Dmytro Shtyblikov and Oleksiy Bessarabov, as well as their close friend Volodymyr Dudka, were detained on November 9, 2016 in Sevastopol.
