Foreign Ministry: Ukrainian ambassador to China will be appointed in near future

"The ambassador will be appointed in the near future," reads the publication of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Facebook.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the nominee for the Ambassador of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China undergoes the final stages of approval.

“The position is important, so a balanced approach is needed. It will be an experienced and professional person who will be treated with respect by our Chinese partners,” the Ministry notes.

In addition, the Foreign Ministry added, the process of interagency coordination on the appointment of heads of Ukrainian parts of intergovernmental commissions for cooperation with all world countries (including China) is being completed.

This happens due to a change in the government team, the publication reads.
