Mogherini: EU foreign ministers want to hear about progress of reforms in Ukraine
“It is important that we welcome the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine today. It is important now to focus the attention of the European Union and the international community on it [Ukraine],” High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini said before the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
She noted that the foreign ministers of the EU member states wanted to hear from Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko about the progress of the reforms carried out by the new Government of Ukraine.
"The EU is most supportive of the reforms in Ukraine, as well as the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country," the EU High Representative said.
On Monday, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko makes working visits to Luxembourg and Brussels.
The minister will attend the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg and a meeting of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs in Brussels.
