Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports to complete reorganization by January 1, 2020

“The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine plans to complete the reorganization and start operating under the new model by January 1, 2020,” reads the report.

It is noted that among the main directions of the ministry’s work will be art and creative issues, cultural heritage, sports, media and information security, charity and volunteering, religious and ethno-national policy, humanitarian and information policy of the temporary occupied territories, youth policy, and tourism.

As reported, according to the government resolution, No. 829, as of September 2, the Information Policy Ministry was reorganized into the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Also, pursuant to that resolution, the Culture Ministry and the Ministry of Youth and Sports were liquidated.
