Prime Minister of Estonia Juri Ratas has stated that Estonia continues to support Ukraine’s reforms, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Estonian prime minister said this in a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksiy Honcharuk, the Estonian Public Broadcasting ERR reported.

"Your government has an impressive plan for reforms. If you manage to implement it, Ukraine will become a country with a much stronger and more efficient economy in a few years," Ratas said.

According to him, Estonia will continue sharing its experience with Ukraine and help it in every possible way, for example, in building an electronic system of state governing and in the field of administrative management. Ratas also assured Honcharuk of Estonia’s strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and invited the Ukrainian prime minister to visit Estonia.

The Estonian prime minister also stressed the importance of “a broad support of the people in carrying out reforms, as the society is the best engine of changes for the better”.

As earlier reported, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky intends to pay an official visit to Tallinn this autumn.
